Plan Your Closet

I think the best place to start with any client is their existing closet. I will come to your home and help you organize and clean out your closet. We decide together what stays and what needs to go. Then together we create a "needs"shopping list that will extend and spruce up your existing wardrobe. This usually takes 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Execute Your Plan

I believe that true style is about wearing what makes you look and feel your best. Not about what some trendy designer or fashion magazine or sales person is trying to sell you. Learning what silhouettes look best on your body type is Step One. Choosing colors that compliment your complexion, eyes and hair is Step Two. Step Three is finding those new items that will complement your existing wardrobe and  extend it and keep you 'on trend' and current.

Lindsey's Laws

1. Make sure it plays well with others Whatever you are buying, make sure it goes with at least 2 other items in your wardrobe (new or existing). This maximizes your wardrobe and your budget.

2. Silhouette, silhouette, silhouette! I firmly believe this is the most important part of creating a style and building a wardrobe where you always feel and look good. Learn what shapes and styles best suit your body and lifestyle and stick with those! If a style is trending but does not look good on you, don't buy it!

3. If you don't LOVE IT, LEAVE IT! I know this has happened to everyone of us, myself included...You go shopping with the "need"to buy something and you talk yourself into buying that something knowing it was "OK"on you but not great. DON'T BUY IT! It won't look any better at home and it will just sit in your closet and be money wasted.
